Laxillin is a laxative from medicinal plants, available in two forms - capsule and syrup.

The capsules contain purified extracts of buckthorn, common chickweed , flaxseed and peppermint. The syrup contains the same extracts without flaxseed.

The two forms of Laxillin were created thanks to the many years of experience of Bulgarian herbalists, healers and scientists. The product is an alternative to laxatives that contain hay. In recent years, senna has been studied by many authors and it was concluded that its long-term use is not advisable.Scientists found that the isolated glycosides called sennosides have a genotoxic and mutagenic effect on the colon mucosa, which increases the risk of developing carcinoma. Furthermore, metabolites of sennosides are absorbed and enter the blood and lymph. A significant proportion of these accumulate in the kidneys and the risk of malignancy in the urinary system increases several fold.
