To help prevent and treat inflammation of the urinary tract (pyelitis, pyelonephritis, cystitis)

Inflammatory processes are common in the pathology of the urinary system. At a young age, problems predominate in women, and in more advanced - suffering is observed equally in both sexes. It proceeds usually with fever, unpleasant cutting or burning pain in the loin region. In inflammation of the bladder (cystitis), the pain is low down towards the pubic bone and is accompanied by frequent urges to urinate. Not infrequently the disease proceeds dramatically. Specialist medical attention is needed. Treatment is usually with broad-spectrum antibiotics and antispasmodics.

In this case, it would be good to include the product "Barsa", which is a combination of three medicinal plants relevant to the prevention and treatment of inflammatory processes of the kidneys and urinary tract. Barsa contains extracts of white birch leaves (Betula alba L), bearberry leaves (Arctostaphyllos uva-ursi L) and elderberry roots (Sambucus ebulus L).

White birch leaf extract has a pronounced diuretic effect (increasing urine output), while also increasing the excretion of sodium and chloride ions. This is due to the flavonoid and potassium nitrate content. Increased diuresis means increased blood flow through the kidneys, which in turn means accelerated healing processes. Bearberry leaf extract has a uroseptic action due to the phenolic glucosides arbutin and methylarbutin, and this action is more pronounced in an alkaline environment. This is the reason why sodium bicarbonate is included in the Barsa capsule.

Elderberry root extract has diuretic and antimicrobial action. All of the above biological effects of the extracts of these medicinal plants have the ability to push in a beneficial direction the healing processes in inflammation of the urinary system and lead to its more complete recovery. If we take them preventively, these herbs can protect us from the suffering described above.
